Modular Stars

ehheh..sometimes I have too much time on my hands

These are all modular stars that I made...a LONG while back, not all at once mind you. For those of you who aren't familiar with modular origami, it is the hardest tyoes of origami to do and the whole piece is made up of several squares folding into each other instead of just folding one. These stars are made up of 30 squares and each point holds three squares. If I varied and did a little experimenting I could have changed the shape and the numbers of squares but I wasn't bothered to =P

So counting up, with a total of 10 stars each holding 30 squares, that's a grand total of 300 squares to make those Each one took about...1-2 hours to make, the smaller ones taking 2+ hours. So that's about ... 14+ hours spent making them ><

When I was learning to make them, the instructions said to stick with just one colour to keep the simplicity of the piece. I DID do that...but then I got bored and did three colours Screw their simplicty! Though I must admit, joining them all together and trynig not to get the two same colours together was pretty hard >< Then I started making smaller versions which was hard and it took several attempts to get the small multicoloured version to all fit.
