Shizuka's Dance -Sketch-

This is Shizuka from the game Genji: Dawn Of The Samurai. The game is quite good. The only major downside is that I can finish it in one sitting if I played 5 hours straight .__. Beautiful graphics and the music is pretty awesome though and those two, for me, add to my liking for any game.

Anyway, I'd been wanting to draw Shizuka for quite some time now but my drawing skills were never really good enough... till now xD With the way that I used to draw, I wouldn't have been able to draw her at all cos of all the detail and the moving sorta-ish pose... D: I wanted to draw her dancing with her two fans since when you finish the game, you see her dancing with two fans.. I'm pretty happy with how this has turned out But Iunno when I'll get to actually colouring her... motivation lacking and all >:

Shizuka Gozen. Legitimate sorceress of the Tamayori, she has been targeted by the Taira-no-Kiyomori because he needs her unique ability to perform the 'Yosegane' enchantment: he plans to use this to draw out the full power concealed in the Amahagane. She is known as the Sorceress of the Tamayori,and holds a special position in the clan. She alone can perform the Yosegane spell which boosts the power concealed in the Amahagane. She lives in hiding in a secret isolated location, with Kiichi Hogen and his people.
